Coaching with a difference

There are loads of people out there who can offer you coaching – business coaching, life coaching, executive coaching etc etc etc and that’s a great thing.
Our coaching has one focus – How can you make the difference you want to make in the world ?
Coaching works because none of us on our own can see perfectly. We are always missing perspectives, we never have the whole context, we all have our own bad habits, we all look through ceratin lenses and not others. Coaching helps us to see more, to explore more alternatives and to learn about ourselves. It helps us to find better ways of being and to do better things.
Much coaching is done without the coach stating explicit values, partly because of the postively intentioned notion that ‘coaching should begin with the needs of the client’, partly because that is what gets business in the mainstream context. Of course, we begin with the needs of the client, but in the wider context of the needs of humanity and the planet.
We are interested in doing coaching that deeply addresses the meaning and significance of your life and the contribution you are making during your stay on this planet. When you are dead and buried and someone is writing a big history of humanity what are they going to say about you ? When our children and grandchildren look back at our generation as either the ones who turned the human project round into something more sustainable or the ones who kept going, even though we could see the limits we were crashing into, what are they going to say about you and us ? These are the types of questions we would like to work on with you.
What is the contribution that you have been uniquely prepared to make in these critical times?
Choosing the right coach for you is a question of chemistry as much as anything else. Give us a ring and we’ll have a chat and see what we both think.
