Walk Out Walk On – Daring to Live the Future Now !

I think we know by now that we live in interesting times – an old system is in decline and at risk of collapse and to quote Arundhati Roy;
‘Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing’.
This other world is being made more possible by people who have walked out and walked on. The stories of these people are at the centre of a new book by Deborah Frieze and Margaret Wheatley: ‘Walk Out Walk On: A Learning Journey Into Communities Daring to Live the Future Now’ and I am delighted that Deborah Frieze is coming to Ireland to co-host with us a deep-dive learning adventure !
.
From November 18 to 20, Deborah Frieze, Davie Philips and Chris Chapman invite you to join us in the wonderful environment of the Cloughjordan eco-village to share stories, learn and co-create together (as well as play, laugh, eat etc etc)
We are also keen to help connect and gel people who are doing (and people who want to do) great things – to support the development of a mutually supportive community of people who want to make a difference – to accelerate our capacity for living and leading the future today.
Full details are on the attached flier.
To book a place, send me an e-mail or better still give me a ring – places are limited to 30 – we expect a high demand, don’t be late !
(Deborah will also be speaking in Dublin at Cultivate at 19.30 on Tuesday 22nd November for details click below)
(and click here to see what other impressive people have been saying about all this !)
Hi Chris,
I am planning to attend the Daring to Live the Future Now weekend in Cloughjordan 18 – 20 November. I’ll try to get a few more people on board among my Leadership and Conflict Resolution students in Kinsale and at UCC…I might even make the 10% discount. Do you need a deposit and by when?
Looking forward to seeing you again,
Thomas
It was great – sorry if you missed it – for a lovely blog on one person’s experience of the event, see here :
